We partnered with the Bill & Ted 3 movie to give away a limited edition guitar. In exchange, all you had to do was tell us who you would bring back using Bill & Ted’s time machine to eat Checker’s fries with. A most bodacious sweepstakes indeed!

We spoofed the pumpkin-spice craze with a fake fall collection of our own.

Remember when everyone was posting pictures of their names on photos to their Instagram Stories?

We created a Checkers branded fry account, right in the peak of this trend, with a personalized twist. Each fry face and name was made custom for our followers.

COVID PIVOTS

Shit got weird in 2020. And with weird and unprecedented times, comes even weirder and more unprecedented solutions. When the pandemic started, clients paused other efforts and rushed to get timely messaging across. We were in charge of making those timely pivots for Checkers social.

FRY COUCH DELIVERY

The Ask: Promote Checkers delivery in the midst a global pandemic.

Our Solve: Focus on the lighter side of staying home and encourage people to be couch potatoes with some help from our fried potatoes. When social channels were cluttered with food photography and delivery messaging, we stood out with unique visuals and fun messaging.

 

FOODTOPIA ZOOM BACKGROUNDS

When virtual backgrounds became our workspace, we did what Checkers does best and spiced things up a little.

 

BOREDOM BUSTERS

By April of 2020, the world was at the brink of watching paint dry for entertainment. When everyone was filling out and sharing Instagram Story templates, we decided to jump on the trend with a few of our own.
