CAMP SUNSHINE
30 DAYS OF SUNSHINE
During September’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we created a campaign to support Camp Sunshine. Founded in 1984, Camp Sunshine provides recreation, education and support programs for children with cancer and their families.
We created a TikTok series that highlighted the book “It’s Like Heaven,” which documents stories from the first 35 years of Camp Sunshine through the voices of campers, their nurses, counselors, and other volunteers.
We illustrated and animated quotes from the stories that capture former camper’s experience with the camp and childhood cancer. Each story is told in first person, and we had each original author narrate their own story.
